Low emissions solar powered Silent Sentinel UAV
The unmanned aerial vehicle is a last project of joint efforts of Ascent Solar Technologies and Bye Aerospace. It appears to be an unmanned aerial car to be working based on both solar power as well as stored electricity. To create a silent, unmanned aerial car, Bye will be applying FJ33 turbofan motor that would take power from a lithium-ion battery while Ascent Solar will be developing photovoltaic panels to be both thin-film and flexible.
