While trying to grease up the Space Stations creaky solar-panel-rotating gears, some of the grease accidentally squirts into the toolbag. Astronaut H.S. Piper is trying to clean it up but ends up losing the bag.
(In case you’re wondering what happens if an Astronaut floats away, note the huge white backpack on the back of the spacesuit; this is known as the “SAFER” unit and is a jet-powered backpack to allow the astronaut to float back to the station during U.S. spacewalks. To the best of my knowledge, it has never been needed.
