Rockstar is going to release the Midnight Club: Los Angeles for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this coming October. The game was announced last year, it will be set in the city of Los Angeles, again providing the option to completely free-roam (on roadways quite more massive than all the cities combined from Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition). The Midnight Club: Los Angeles is a tiny different from the previous one, as it features “a day-to-night cycle and weather effects, adding a realistic aspect to the game.” Video after the break.

usb robot 4-port hub is more hub than robot

You can twist each port up to 270 degrees, although off the top of my head I can’t think of why I would need to do that. I mean, it’s pretty cool and all, and it’s a fun way to anthropomorphize your USB action, but I’m not sure if it’s strictly necessary in terms of functionality. The hub folds up into a nice, neat square when not in twist mode, sort of like a super lame Transformer (Nightbeat, anyone?)

Also, it seems unnecessarily HUGE. You can get one here for $12.

iPhone 3G Cracks
Your smooth and shiny baby just got a crack. Yeah, I’m talking about the iPhone 3G. They said that cracks can easily happen on the 16GB models, the white ones. Some stated, those cracks could be the quality control issue. So how’s your iPhone 3G? OK? Or KO?

1979 BMW M1
I’m sure my father is going to love, the 1979 BMW M1. Grab it for $189,000, current bid is above $100,000. It is powered by a 3.5L 6-Cylinder engine, mated with 5-speed manual transmission. Everything looks clean and low mileage. More photos and a video after the break. [via Jalopnik] Tags: car, sports car, coupe, 1979 BMW […]

Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 4 comparison
Resident Evil 5 is quite similar from the previous one RE4. Shooting styles, enemy reactions blab la bla. But of course there are similarities as both are the same game. RE3, RE2 and RE1 still the ideal, because the zombies are more dumb. Check out the RE4 and RE5 comparison video after the break. […]

Grand Theft Auto Cars
Here’s a review for Grand Theft Auto, about the automobiles they’re using. They borrow the most infamous rides from the past and present GTA cities. Rhino tank the ideal, I remember I use some cheat for it in Vice City. Unfortunately, Rhino wasn’t included in the GTA IV. Check them out after the break. […]

When is a hard drive not just a hard drive? When it’s a tiny work of contemporary desktop art, of course.

Pringles Hard Drive

The artists of Brazil’s Meninos design studio first started out making these custom pop art hard drive cases for their friends. Now they’ve had the brilliant idea to release their wares to the rest of the world for us to like.

stormtrooper hard drive

Every one of their external USB hard drive cases is hand-assembled at their studio, using a custom acrylic case (complete with dual cooling fans) covered with a precisely applied vinyl wrapper of one of their designs. They’ll also make custom designs if you upload Adobe Illustrator art using their custom template.

While I love all of their designs, the Samuel L. Jackson Pulp Fiction model has to be my favorite (vinyl blood splatter not included).

Samuel L Jackson Pulp Fiction Hard Drive

While the cases aren’t cheap ($250 US without a drive, $400 to $620 US with one), I’ll forgive these guys since the designs are just so cool. Head on over to the Meninos Shop to see the complete collection.

Robotic Snake that Generates Power from Wave Energy
Anaconda Wave GeneratorWhile humanity goes up on the technological ladder, it is necessary to keep an eye on our surroundings. 20 age’s technological boom increased our need in energy, and it greatly increased our negative influence on ecology of Earth. Now it is the time when we must learn on our mistakes, and find a new, clean source of energy for our needs. There already are several methods to make ecologically clean energy: solar batteries, windmills… Even the energy of ocean waves can be used! This interesting prototype that looks like a very long snake is meant especially for these purposes.
