WowWee’s new FlyTech Bladestar is a crazy looking flying machine which lifts itself using a helicopter-like spinning rotor, hovering through your living room with ease.

But the real cool factor is a special autopilot mode which lets the Bladestar atuomatically avoid ceilings and other obstacles. Heck, you can even steer it by waving your hands in front of it. If you’d rather have more precise control over your flyer, just use the included digital IR remote control.
Thanks to the multi-channel remote system, you can even fly two Bladestars at the same time and take down your friend in Dogfight mode. It’s all made from a durable crash-resistant materials, and safe to fly indoors.
The spinning blade design sort of reminds me of those annoying Manhacks from Half-Life 2. Unfortunately, these ones don’t have deadly metal saw blades mounted on them. Oh well.
Still, they do look pretty cool even if they won’t decapitate your enemies. You can get your hands on the Flytech Bladestar over on Amazon for just under $50 bucks.

Hydrogen engine car - is it efficient enough?
Today when people are talking more and more about substitute energy sources especially for the cars we’ve many different products coming out. Hybrid automobiles that run on gasoline and electricity, pure electric vehicles etc. Hydrogen vehicles are using hydrogen as the energy carrier not the energy source so people would need some massive scale hydrogen plants or home hydrogen stations to power their automobiles. I don’t get it, why they like to use bras to make some cool concept. That’s not fair for men. Lol. Another easy concept announced this day, called the charging Bra. How? Simple, just jump to generate energy and you can use it to charge your iPod or whatever that is chargeable. It will be probably made of elastic so that it can get even more motion and a small piston could even be used to get more juice.. So um… is it the more massive bounce the more charges? Go for a jog and get your iPod charged.

Here’s a video showing you how to create the LED eagle eye rings for your vehicle. That’s really awesome, just looks like the one in bimmer. What we called that, angel eye, eagle eye or something. Huh, look pretty much the same. Video after the break.
The reflective tape upgraded to the ring is to make it brighter and stand out superior. This simple tiny trick traps the otherwise lost light that would have escaped into the reflective bowl, causing irregular light pattern inside the headlamp which blends out the ring. It’s not about having the brightess ring; it’s about making it stand out and doing it cheap. LED is the way to go.

Mule Design came out with this Web 2.0/Kool-Aid mashup t-shirt. But why? Simply to express their enthusiasm for the say of the net by conflating Web 2.0 and delicious fruity powders that turn into refreshing beverages?

Nope. I’m pretty sure this is a highly niche geek product aimed at those of us who remember Steve Rubel’s much-cited blog post from last fall entitled The Web 2.0 World is Skunk Drunk on Its Own Kool-Aid. And Rubel, of course, was using the Jonestown massacre metaphor in his title. I could go on, but at this point it’s all getting much too meta for me.
Anyway, did you ever notice how Kool-Aid man has a crewcut made of ice cubes? I didn’t until just now. So: T-shirt! Kool-Aid! Web 2.0! Yaaaaaaay! Get one for $20 at Mule Design, and don’t worry, I don’t think anyone will get the reference.
